Rapporten skal læses i sammenhæng med Human Rights Watchs rapport “No Exit, Human Rights Abuses Inside the MKO Camps” fra maj 2005. Rapporten indeholder en summarisk gennemgang af kritik af rapporten fra tilhængere af MKO og fra Friends of a Free Iran (FOFI), og Human Rights Watch´s svar herpå.
